Ralph Lauren Children’s – Spring/Summer Stories of Style and Spirit

Designing for Ralph Lauren Children’s is about capturing the magic of youth through a lens of heritage, elegance, and playful storytelling. Like the baby business, it’s deeply emotional, steeped in tradition, but always fresh with a sense of wonder. Each collection is built with the same sophistication as the adult lines, yet infused with the innocence, adventure, and joy unique to childhood.
For Spring/Summer, I brought that balance to life through a range of heritage-inspired concepts: bold multicolor nauticals, soft preppy pastels, Nantucket-to-Palm Beach tropicals, Hawaiian surf themes, vintage countryside florals, and sporty Americana classics. These stories flowed across both boys’ and girls’ lifestyles, creating a world where imagination meets timeless style.
A highlight was incorporating the iconic Ralph Lauren Bear into select prints, a beloved character that adds just the right touch of charm and playfulness.
At its best, the children’s line evokes a feeling, nostalgic yet modern, elevated yet approachable. Through every pattern, palette, and print, my goal was to make each piece feel like a keepsake in the making.
