A year-long creative partnership blending artistry, nostalgia, and heritage storytelling.
I had the joy of collaborating with celebrated watercolorist Riley Sheehey on an exclusive Ralph Lauren Baby capsule collection. A series of newborn essentials and thoughtful gifts designed to celebrate every milestone. The RL x Riley Sheehey collection brought together Riley’s whimsical watercolor hand and Ralph Lauren’s timeless heritage, translating the brand’s iconic spirit into the baby world for the first time in this way.
Inspired by classic children’s book illustrations and archival Ralph Lauren designs from the ’80s, ’90s, and early 2000s, the collaboration unfolded over a full year of storytelling through print, pattern, and color. Each season carried its own charming narrative, from Pre-Fall’s nautical seaside adventures, to Back-to-School’s collegiate spirit, Fall’s romantic sampler motifs, Spring’s floral and bunny garden for Easter, a playful NYC “Saturday in the Park”, and finally, Holiday’s enchanting “Polo Express” theme.
Together, we created a world that felt both fresh and nostalgic, where art and heritage met in the most tender and imaginative way, a love letter to childhood, craftsmanship, and the beauty of storytelling through design.
